The Chaguaramas Military History and Aerospace Museum is located at the former naval base in Chaguaramas, Trinidad and Tobago. The base was originally established in 1941 and served as a training base for the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. After the war, the base was handed over to the Trinidad and Tobago government and eventually became the main training facility for the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force.
In the late 1990’s, the government decided to convert the base into a museum as a way to preserve the history of the base and to honor the many soldiers who served there. The museum opened in 2002 and has since become a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
